High voltage emulators

High voltage emulators constitute the behavior of electrical devices and components by functionally and electrically.
In contrast to real simulators thereby high-voltage voltages and currents are generated.

With the high voltage
emulators  the conditions and working points can be reached quickly and the different behavior can be simulated.

The devices of the BX series allow to emulate

  • Batteries, battery modules, battery packs and battery systems
  • Fuel cells, fuel cell stacks and fuel cell systems
  • High voltage electrical systems in vehicles
  • 48V electrical systems in vehicles
  • Photovoltaic panels and photovoltaic systems
  • Energy networks

The emulators have a high accuracy at a high system dynamics.

It can
generated voltages up to 1,000V, current up to 1,200A and power up to 600kW with a single device. In addition, even higher currents and power can be achieved by parallel connection.

The modern technology of the device allows efficient energy consumption through energy recovery. With simultaneous use of multiple emulators for example, HV power supply, 48V electrical system in the car or HV tester and HV electrical system in the vehicle, the energy can be distributed in the intermediate circuit and allows for lower power input.
